What To Expect At a Sunday Gathering

A typical Sunday gathering will last 1.5 to 2 hours. Each gathering is made up of four main elements: praise, prayer, preaching and participation in the sacraments (Baptisms and Communion).

Praise: We sing a mix of songs designed to declare God's glory, grace, goodness and greatness and express our devotion to Him.
Prayer: While there is pastoral prayer and a prayer team is available after each gathering, we also prioritize time during the gathering to listen to the Spirit, bless others with spiritual gifts and testimonies and pray. We welcome everyone to participate during this time.
Preaching: One of our elder/pastors or someone in training will preach the gospel as they teach the Scriptures. Our main form of teaching is Christ-centered expositional preaching, meaning that we teach through books of the Bible, one passage at a time, seeking to unpack its originally intended meaning, how it points us to Jesus, our Savior King, and how to apply its truth to our lives.
Participation: After the teaching we slow down to reflect and then gather around the Lord's table for confession and conversation as we receive Communion together.
The whole family is always welcome! We provide sermon note takers for kids and teens. In addition, Legacy Kids Ministry provides engaging age-appropriate Bible teaching for ages 12 weeks through 12 years. Plan to stick around after the service to hang out, meet new people, and strengthen friendships!

Micro-churches are the front lines and focus of our ministry because they most naturally reflect Jesus' disciple-making ministry while he was on earth. Jesus and his 12 disciples shared their lives together while on mission to proclaim the kingdom, minister to people and make disciples of all people. Our desire is to multiply simple micro-churches that embody this legacy of love that God is building.
